NEW PRESIDENTS MEETING 2018

A message from the 2018-2019 District Governor & Lieutenant Governor:

Hello Leaders of District 5170-

It is with great excitement that we welcome you, the new leaders of our beloved district, to explore The 2018 New Presidents’ Meeting!

Today you will journey through a series of carefully designed workshops alongside your family. You will have the opportunity to meet and network with other leaders from across our district, and today you will be prompted to take a step or two beyond your comfort-zone. However, do not worry- you will be met with waves of support and encouragement. This experience is designed to provide 5170’s leaders with a chance to learn from one another and gather the skills needed to guide your clubs past any and all expectations.

You, as a leader, are the vitality of this event, and the glue of our district. After all, we would not be able to call ourselves the largest, most prolific Interact district in the entire world if it weren’t for those who lead with passion, instill hope, and possess limitless aspiration: YOU.

In addition to traveling between workshops, networking with other club officers, and discovering more about your own personal leadership style, we challenge you to not forget why we are here. We are here to build leaders, but we are also here to impact the world. The funds we raise for our International Project and the service hours we contribute to our Community Project make direct impacts on human lives. Together, we must spread our love for service within our communities. Together we will not only propel our district to new heights, we will delve deep into its core and appreciate our roots in service.

You, yes you, are the light of our prolific district. You are the one who leads the way for those who are lost. Today you are taking that first step in fortifying yourself as a lighthouse. 5170 is only as successful as the people in it. Dare to dream.

Truly Yours,

Jaide Chen & Sofia Kritikopoulos

Governor & Lieutenant Governor 2018-2019
